Toxic: A Black Woman’s Story: Short Film Screening and Discussion

Held annually from April 11-17th, Black Maternal Health W is a week-long campaign founded and led by the Black Mamas Matter Alliance to build awareness, activism, and community-building to amplify the voices, perspectives, and lived experiences of Black Mamas and birthing people.

This year, we are planning to host a short film screening and discussion for the movie Toxic: A Black Woman’s Story. This film is based on themes regarding pregnancy, miscarriage, and related factors that affect negative birth outcomes.
