The Foodie Fest (Food Festival In Support Of Autism Awareness & Acceptance)

Get ready for an unforgettable experience at The Foodie Fest, founded by Amanda Dale-Lopez, Vice President of What Hoboken Sounds Like! This exciting event, happening on April 5th between 4th and 5th Garden Street, is more than just a celebration of incredible food. It’s a powerful platform for Autism Awareness and Acceptance, promoting inclusion, understanding, and community spirit.

Here’s what to expect:

Food Vendors

Attendees can indulge in a wide variety of delicious dishes, with options ranging from savory bites to sweet treats, provided by talented vendors.

Book Drive

Participants are encouraged to bring books to donate, supporting local literacy programs and initiatives and helping to spread the joy of reading.

Autism Awareness & Inclusion

As the proud mother of an autistic child, Amanda created this festival to promote understanding and inclusion. “This event is about showing the beauty of acceptance in every corner of our lives,” she explains. The festival aims to celebrate diversity and foster a stronger community through awareness and acceptance.

Live Music

Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere with live music from What Hoboken Sounds Like’s official DJ, @DJBRIPEE, adding the perfect soundtrack to the day.

A Celebration of Connection

Beyond the food, The Foodie Fest is about bringing people together, sparking creativity, and supporting causes that have a lasting impact.

This event represents a heartfelt vision and a dream realized. Sponsored by the Hoboken Business Alliance, it promises to create unforgettable memories. Let’s make The Foodie Fest an event to remember!
