This event offers a fantastic opportunity to engage with AAPI culture through various interactive workshops and performances with the New York Chinese Cultural Center to celebrate, honor, and recognize the historical and cultural contributions made to the United States by people of Asian and Pacific Islander descent.

Event Schedule:

• 12:00 — 12:45 PM: Dance Workshop
  Kick off the celebration with an exciting dance workshop hosted by NYCCC. Learn traditional and contemporary dance moves that celebrate the rich diversity of AAPI dance forms. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced dancer, this workshop offers a welcoming environment for all.
• 1:00 — 1:45 PM: Calligraphy Workshop
  Discover the art of calligraphy with NYCCC’s expert instructors. In this workshop, you will explore the elegant and expressive techniques of traditional Asian calligraphy.
• 1:15 — 2:00 PM: Musical Performance
  Enjoy a captivating musical performance by X. The interactive performance will be about the roots and modern traditions of the festival. will bring AAPI culture to life through an enchanting blend of music and storytelling. Experience a variety of sounds and instruments that reflect the rich musical traditions of the AAPI community. Puppets and other props to bring the story to life for children.
