The 4AIR Project & My Finest Self present the 4th Annual Kiddie Character Fest!

Bring your child for an afternoon of fun, games, and workshops while dressed up in their BEST character costume!

Children encounter stressors daily from academics to relationships with friends to transitions in family/personal life. At times, children struggle to find the appropriate way to manage their emotions while facing their daily/ weekly challenges.

This year we are providing youth with a space to be authentically themselves, make friends, build tools to add to their coping skills box, and have conversations around wellness with experts in the field!

Youth will engage in 2 GROUP workshops & 3 TABLE sessions. All sessions range from 20- 30 minutes.

Group Workshops

• Wellness Chit & Chat with Ms. T (Founder of TSpeaksNYC)
• Tapping Exercise with Ms. Cerene (Founder of Orchard Blue Counseling)
• Silly Willie Relay Games

Table Sessions: Kids will have the opportunity to float through 3 interactive wellness tables where they will be able to creatively express themselves.

Policies & procedure for entry into the venue

• A parent/guardian must sign a child into the event. Photo consent & child wavier MUST be completed by the parent/guardian upon entry

• Please arrive ON TIME. If your child is late, they will NOT be able to enter until the next session. Timeliness is important as the kids will not fully benefit from each station and discussions

In order to build a safe and comfortable space for the children, we are asking parents to wait outside of the venue during the workshop portion of the event. Parents will be allowed to enjoy the festivities with their children for the first and last 30 minutes of the event.
