Isabel Roxas is the author-illustrator of The Adventures of Team Pom: Squid Happens. She was born in the Philippines and raised on luscious mangoes, old wives’ tales, and monsoon moons. Learn more about Isabel online at StudioRoxas.com or on Instagram @StudioRoxas.

Ira Marcks is a cartoonist living in Upstate New York with his wife, their cat and dog, and lots of books he’s been meaning to read. He is the author of Shark Summer and Spirit Week. Jason Patterson and Dan Abdo met in the back of the art room in high school, started drawing together, and never stopped. They both attended the Rhode Island School of Design and then both moved to New York City to begin their world conquest. These days Jason has jumped across the Hudson to live in New Jersey with his wife and two children. Dan returned to the place where it all started and lives in Vermont with his wife, two children, six chickens, two ducks, and one ancient cat. Even though they’re hundreds of miles apart they still draw together every day. Together at First Second, they’ve produced several volumes of Blue, Barry & Pancakes, a zany story about three animal friends who go on out-of-this-world adventures!
