5th Annual Poetry Fest: Jersey Proud: Slam with Radi The Poet

Jersey City Writers honors home-grown wordsmiths with our 5th Annual Poetry Fest: Jersey Proud. Join us in welcoming poets from around the Garden State as we celebrate the words that shape us and the stories we can’t forget. We’ve recruited the poetic dream team. Don’t miss a word of it!

Award-winning poet One Name, All Caps: RADI’s work reflects her real-life experience as a proud Fat Black Lesbian. Please join JCW at the Jersey City Free Public Library (Miller Branch) for an electric performance and get solid advice on slam perfection.

One Name, All Caps: RADI is an award-winning poet and author of ChapBook. Her work reflects her real-life experience as a proud Fat Black Lesbian. RADI has represented five National poetry teams. She is a 4x New Jeru Slam Champion and has won: Black Arts Matter, Baltimore Pride, and S.I.P.S Slam making her the #1 Queer Poet in the World. RADI was a member of the 2019 Brooklyn Slam team which featured the Carnival Slam in Antigua, but her most prized accomplishment is being the #1 Female Slam poet in the world!
