We’ll have mural painting, mental health resources, music, food, dancing, and other activities centered around celebrating wellness, self-care, and joy.

Artist Paul Deo (@planetdeo) will be leading the community painting of a new mural dedicated to erasing the stigma of mental illness set to go up on a wall in MMCC’s building in June! The mural, “Collective Prayer for the New You” has been developed by Paul, program participants from Homeward NYC and the larger Bronx community over the last six months, and they now need your help with painting!

The Paint Fest will be a fun and meaningful way for folks across the Bronx and NYC to come together and help create a long-lasting work of art in the community that reflects our shared commitment to mental health, well-being, and healing.

All painting supplies and art materials will be provided, and there will be music, food, dancing, face painting, a journaling station, and more!

This is a family-friendly #FREE event for all ages & artistic skill levels.
