Lens Fest Extended — NYC Augmented Reality (AR) Meetup
Are you a big fan of Snap Inc.’s annual Lens Fest conference? If so, we invite you to attend a Lens Fest Extended augmented reality (AR) meetup in NYC, sponsored by Boston-based creative studio Bare Tree Media and Snap AR. This FREE event looks to bring together new and established members of the global AR community to explore the future of AR.
Maya Pruitt, Snap Lens Studio Creator, Product Designer, and Adjunct Professor of AR at New York University, will give a live AR demonstration on using Machine Learning (ML) models for object tracking in Lens Studio. See the description below for what will be covered in the presentation followed by the event agenda.
Description: The foundation of every AR experience is the ability to anchor virtual content to something in real life. By using machine learning models, we can vastly widen the scope of what your camera can recognize. In this presentation, Maya will show two examples of SnapML lenses she created that detected objects in order to trigger assets and create interactivity.
