Rodale Autumn Arts and Science Fair

Welcome! As we head into Autumn, and the leaves begin to shift into brilliant reds and golds, it’s the perfect moment to dive into the wonders and beauty of nature. Our FREE Arts and Science Fair offers a fun, educational, and rewarding experience for individuals and families. Every workshop, information booth, and activity is designed to be in harmony with REduce, REuse, REcycle, REthink & REimagine. Join us for a hands-on workshop on preserving food, have a soil sample tested for heavy metals, analyze soil, bugs, and plants under a microscope, and take part in fun arts and crafts activities.

The food preservation workshop is being facilitated by an aspiring and impressive high school senior who started the organization, Food4ThoughtProject. They are focused on implementing programming to promote collaboration, education, and resources for healthier food.

Bronx River Alliance is generously supporting this event for the community by providing FREE on-site soil testing for heavy metals and providing LED microscopes for analysis of soil, bugs, and plants.
