Our vision at Stapledon Arts is that Black & Brown communities are empowered through seeing representation, having access to quality art education, and receiving support in activating their creative skills to impact the world around them.

Therefore we are excited to participate in the NiLu Makers Market and highlight our inclusive art supplies. NiLu is a Black-owned gift shop in Harlem that features independent makers.

Dedicated to Community + Craft + Culture, NiLu cultivates a collective of inspiring makers for true lovers of the culture — in a space that celebrates us, advocates for us, and welcomes all who want to do the same.

During the Makers Market, we will be joined by Harlem Artist & Educator Terika Harris and Queens Artist & Designer Fitgi Saint-Louis. They will be selling some of their unique pieces of art and collaborating with us to bring you an interactive painting using our product Melanin Series.
