Healing Harlem Street Fair
Join Common Justice and Not Another Child on Thursday, July 27th for a Healing Harlem Street Fair to raise awareness about expanding access to services for crime survivors and solutions to violence that don’t rely on prisons or police.
Come join in on the fun for the whole family! We’ll have food, music, resources, and, most importantly, be in the community! Come learn about the legislation we’re trying to pass that impacts the Black and brown community in New York City and how we can help expand access to healing services to ALL survivors in New York State.
If you are an organization and want to join us as a resource vendor please complete this form and someone from our team will connect with you.
About Common Justice:
Common Justice develops and advances solutions to violence that transform the lives of those harmed and foster racial equity without relying on incarceration.
In New York City, we operate the first alternative-to-incarceration and victim-service program in the United States that focuses on violent felonies in adult courts. Locally and nationally, we leverage the lessons from our direct service to transform the justice system through partnerships, advocacy, and elevating the experience and power of those most impacted.
Rigorous and hopeful, we build practical strategies to hold people accountable for harm, break cycles of violence, and secure safety, healing, and justice for survivors and their communities.
About Not Another Child Inc.:
Not Another Child is a nonprofit that brings awareness to gun violence and its cause and effects. The organization commits itself to the development of our youth and young adults while providing wholeness and healing to those directly impacted by violence.
