Safety Procedures & Protocols
BNYDC continues to review, monitor, and evaluate health and safety protocols. At this time, face masks are highly recommended but are not required in common areas inside the Yard. Individual businesses hosting programs may still require face masks, so it is also highly recommended that visitors read event registration materials closely and context individual event organizers with questions and that visitors bring a face mask with them to the Yard.
BNYDC and its community of 500+ businesses, expect visitors to respect each other’s personal decisions regarding face masks and if a business owner decides face masks are required for their programs or to enter their spaces, it is expected that visitors will comply without delay or complaint.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in designated program areas and in seating areas. Smoking is only permitted in outdoor areas at least 100 feet from all building entrances and not allowed indoors or on intra-Yard shuttle buses. If a program is hosted outdoors, a dedicated smoking area will be identified, and smoking restrictions strictly enforced.
