Vignettes: A Visual Narrative Exhibition

Atlantic Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of Vignettes: A Visual Narrative Exhibition, on view from Tuesday, May 30th, through Saturday, June 17th, 2023. A reception for the artists will be held on Thursday, June 1st, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.

A Vignette can be interpreted in different ways, and that’s precisely what the artists in this show do. Working in digital and traditional mediums, the artists use their distinct styles and unique voices to tell brief stories or capture moments in time. Although each artist strives to craft their own tales, The work shares a common thread throughout the exhibition to weave a larger narrative.

Among the group of artists are former roommates and classmates. Others were brought together by chance encounters or through social media. Some have previously worked together, and others collaborated for the first time. Together, they created a show that’s both eclectic and cohesive. Through their respective works, the artists experiment with various ways of crafting a visual narrative.
