Nick Depuy & The Big Fly is an upcoming tristate-based folk-soul collective of artist friends fronted by singer-songwriter and lifelong solo performer turned bandleader Nick Depuy. Nick and his band of musical mates have continued to refine a colorful blend of folk and soul to compliment Nick’s inventive songwriting and captivating energy on stage, which can be heard on Nick Depuy & The Big Fly’s critically acclaimed 2019 singles “You Never Know” and “So We Love” (songs by Nick that have earned him top 5 finalist spot in 2019 CT Folk fest and top 20 finalist spot in 2020 Kerrville New Folk Songwriting competitions) On the heels of their successful Emerging Acts Showcase at Falcon Ridge Folk Festival this past July, Nick Depuy & The Big Fly are excited to bring their show of thoughtfully dynamic songs as a trio to Nook.
