Background about the concert
Trombonist and composer Craig Harris has used his musical gifts for 50 years to challenge social injustices in the U.S and beyond. BREATHE is Harris’ multimedia work performed by a large ensemble of musicians in response to the long-term and current injustices inflicted upon African American people. It is a reminder to remain resilient in fighting for justice.
Join us as we breathe beyond BONDAGE, beyond BRUTALITY, beyond BIGOTRY. All are welcome to experience this love-filled sonic statement!
