Moses Patrou is a prolific songwriter/multi-instrumentalist active on the New York scene for 20+ years. His experience spans years of hard work playing music everything from small NYC dive bars to large international festivals.

A student of hard knocks education, Moses Patrou has re-invented himself many times by playing drums, percussion, guitar, and keyboards. The soulful singer/songwriter was born in Nashville, TN, and later raised in Madison, WI where he watched and learned from ’Funky Drummer" Clyde Stubblefield, toured and recorded with Jazz legend Ben Sidran and other notable local musicians. Moses Patrou traveled and lived and studied for extensive periods of time in music epicenters: New Orleans, LA, Salvador Bahia Brazil, and Havana, Cuba before making New York City home in 2001. He has since been back to Tennessee where he recorded with the HI-Rhythm section (Al Green, Ann Peebles) in Memphis, and the Fame rhythm section (Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett) in Muscle Shoals. Moses Patrou has played on stages with Levon Helm (The Band), Boz Skaggs, and Gregg Allman, and has appeared at Monterey Jazz Fest, Womad Jazz Fest (Canary Islands), Montreal Jazz Fest, Ascona Jazz Fest (Switzerland), and countless others on nearly every continent.

Moses Patrou leads his groups mainly from the Hammond organ, his groups range from organ trio (B3 Dive Bombers) featuring his sultry vocal over organ/bass, guitar, and drums, sometimes adding tenor sax for flavor and if needed; the full ensemble adding bass guitar to create the “Brooklyn Dive Bombers” experience.
