Orlando FL born singer-songwriter John Dorney is an emerging artist located in NYC that embodies deep thoughts and feelings in his music while maintaining an intimate and playful touch that sets him apart. Dorney recently released his debut EP “Here Now” in April 2024 produced by Charles Dahkle of The Brazen Youth at Ashlawn Recording Company in Old Lyme CTWith breathy vocals reminiscent of John Mayer or Jack Johnson, Dorney also draws from the experiences of growing up in the south by playing with feel from the likes of Tom Petty, The Band, The Allman Brothers, and Little Feat. His trio realizes all of these elements with an improvisational touch that leads to uncharted territories never to be heard again.
