On Thursday, December 21, 2023, Lincoln Center Presents will host a special dance club performance by Colombian DJ and producer Jose Gonzalez, better known as Hovy. The event will showcase his eclectic and energetic mix of Latin house and techno, drawing from his diverse musical influences and experiences.

Hovy, who is based in New York City, has been making waves in the electronic music scene since 2019, releasing five full-length albums and performing at various venues and festivals around the world. His sound is influenced by the rhythms and melodies of cumbia, samba, salsa, and Latin jazz, as well as the electronic traditions of Detroit, Ibiza, and Berlin. He describes his music as “a journey into sound, where I explore different genres, cultures, and emotions through music.”

The concert will take place at the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center, a vibrant public space that offers free performances, exhibitions, and events throughout the year.
