We cordially invite you to celebrate and remember our dad, the world-renowned cellist, Leslie Parnas.

Please join us for an evening of music, stories, and a short video celebrating the life and career of Leslie on September 28 in Boston, where he lived and taught for 50 years, or on September 30, in New York City, where so many musical connections and life-long friendships were made.

Cicely Parnas, Leslie’s granddaughter, will honor the evening by playing Leslie’s cello in a recital deeply connected to his musical legacy. We are thrilled that Cicely will be joined by the celebrated pianist, Arsentiy Kharitonov. Leslie played his cello every day since 1956, and now it has been beautifully restored and still resonates with Leslie’s voice and unique sound.
