About Ambivert Trio
Ambivert is a collaborative band (Sebastian Noelle, guitar; Ronen Itzik, drums; and Yaniv Taubenhouse, piano) that takes original and jazz standard repertoire, and approaches it with an emphasis on the exploration of sound and texture.
About Sebastian Noelle (guitar)
German native and NYC-based guitarist Sebastian Noelle is a noted instrumentalist, composer, bandleader, and recording artist. He has played with Darcy James Argue’s Secret Society (appearing on two Grammy-nominated recordings) for over a decade and performed and recorded with Matt Mitchell, Dan Weiss, Chris Potter, Chris Tordini and many others. He has released four CDs on the European FreshSounds-NewTalent label.
About Yaniv Taubenhouse (piano)
Pianist Yaniv Taubenhouse was most recently at Jazz Vespers in March 2022 with violinist Meg Okura. He is an Israeli native based in New York City since 2013. Yaniv has performed with musicians such as Ron McClure, Anat Cohen, David Schnitter, Ari Hoenig, Roswell Rudd, Jorge Rossy, Orlando Le Fleming, Geroge Coleman, Peter Bernstein, Ferenc Nemeth, and Will Vinson.
About Ronen Itzik (drums)
Drummer Ronen Itzik is an Israeli native based in NYC. He has performed and recorded with jazz greats such as Lee Konitz, Gary Burton, Kenny Werner, Roy Hargrove, Joe Lovano, Marcus Roberts, Anat Cohen, Ben Monder and many more. His former teachers include Ian Froman, Jamey Hadad, Joe Hunt, John Hazilla, Marcus Roberts, Hal Crook, Yaaki Levi, and Eitan Itzkovich.
