A concert in memory of Haleh Abghari
Friends and collaborators present and perform a concert in celebration of the life and artistry of Haleh Abghari.
Ozan Aksoy, saz and voice; Derek Bermel, clarinet; Cyrus Beroukhim, violin; Steve Gosling, piano; Ani Kalayjian, violoncello; Eric Moe, piano; Sara Paar, soprano; and Laurie San Martin, clarinet.
Perform works by Haleh Abghari, JS Bach, Béla Bartók, Zoltán Kodály, György Kurtág, Eric Moe, Grigor Narekatsi, and Laurie San Martin. Also on the program are Armenian, Hungarian, Kurdish, and Persian folksongs.
