About the Artists

Cappella Sur

Founded in 2013 by music director Guillermo Vaisman, Cappella Sur is a New York City—based mixed chamber choir dedicated to sharing the rich rhythms and melodies of Latin America. Performing exclusively in Spanish, the ensemble brings together diverse voices to celebrate Latin American cultural identity through music. Their performances across the U.S. and Europe, and their 2023 creation of the Cappella Sur International Choir Festival, have earned them recognition as passionate ambassadors of Latin American choral art.

Xinsheng Chinese Choir of New York

Established in October 2023, the Xinsheng Chinese Choir (New York Voices) is an independent choral group representing the global Chinese community. Based in New York, the choir is committed to showcasing the vitality of contemporary Chinese and Chinese-speaking culture. Through both original and adapted works, the ensemble seeks to empower community voices, foster cultural connection, and offer music as a healing and unifying force.
