Sunday Concerts at Queens Public Library with New York City Swing
We’re kicking off our Sunday Concerts Series this season with the sounds of New York City Swing, founded by Dore DeQuattro.
For over 30 years, this eclectic group of world-class musicians has played diverse dance music genres with unparalleled versatility. Collectively and individually, they’ve performed with and for such legends as Oprah Winfrey, Chuck Berry, Lou Rawls, Stevie Wonder, Darlene Love, and Howard Stern (to name a few), as well as Presidential Inaugurals for Bill Clinton and George Bush.
Join us for an extensive repertoire of familiar hits from the Big Band Swing of the ‘50s, ‘60s Rock & Roll, Motown, ‘70s Disco, ’80s Rock, ’90s R&B, Top 40s hits, and more!
