Nicola Dorling | Group Chief Information Officer, Downer GroupSince December 2023, Nicola has served as Group CIO at Downer, one of Australia’s largest infrastructure services providers (ASX200). She leads digital transformation and rebranding of Downer’s IT function—as "Downer Digital"—and spearheads AI-driven initiatives such as predictive maintenance and safety analytics across major infrastructure projects. Nicola is also a lecturer in digital strategy at AGSM UNSW Business School and a recognized industry leader ranked #2 in CIO50 Australia 2024.
Dr Sue Keay | Director, UNSW AI Institute & CEO, Queensland AI Hub Sue currently directs the AI Institute at UNSW. Previously, she served as CEO of Queensland AI Hub and continues to leverage her deep expertise in robotics and automation to advance Australia’s capabilities globally. She is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering and was Chair of the Robotics Roadmap for Australia, which guides national policy. She is also acknowledged for her work unlocking Australia’s first robotics roadmap and founding the Robots Industry Grace Hopper Celebration Down Under.
Sankar Thiagarajan | Principal AI Product Manager & Head of AI & Analytics, Woodside Energy Sankar serves as principal product manager and head of analytics for Woodside Energy, Australia’s leading energy operator. He joined in February 2014 and has overseen enterprise-scale systems that drive operational efficiency and engineering excellence within the energy sector. Sankar’s background spans IT leadership and energy board-level governance.
