🇲🇾 Malaysia Festival 2026 is coming to New York City — and this year, we’re going BIGGER.

Organised by the Consulate General of Malaysia in New York in collaboration with Resorts World New York City, Malaysia Festival 2026 (MYFestNY 2026) is the flagship annual celebration of Malaysian culture, cuisine, heritage, and community on the East Coast of the United States.

Held in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2026 (VMY2026) and the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America (America250), this year’s festival promises to be our most spectacular edition yet — with more performances, more food, more activities, and more Malaysians than ever before. We are expecting 5,000 visitors and more to join us for a full day of fun, culture, and great food!

What to expect

• Main Stage — Live cultural performances, traditional dance, music, and the Grand Officiation ceremony
• Traditional Games Zone (Sukan Rakyat) — Relive your childhood with congkak, capteh, batu seremban, and more traditional Malaysian games for all ages
• Cooking Demonstration Zone — Watch and learn from live Malaysian cooking demonstrations and cooking contests
• Malaysian Food Vendor Zone — Feast on authentic Malaysian street food, noodles, rice dishes, desserts, and beverages from a curated selection of vendors
• Culture & Arts / Tourism Zone — An immersive showcase of Malaysian arts, crafts, batik, and heritage, plus the Visit Malaysia Year 2026 experiential booth by Tourism Malaysia
• Education Tourism Booth — Explore Malaysia’s world-class universities and study opportunities
• Malaysian Agricultural Products Booth — Discover Malaysia’s tropical fruits, specialty produce, and food exports
