Webinar “Be Tutored. Be a Tutor. Online Peer-to-Peer Tutoring for Students Is Here!”

This edWebinar will introduce educators to a free, student-delivered, student-consumed, peer-to-peer online tutoring option. Presenters Akshay Ravikumar from Schoolhouse World and Doug Little from Wacom will explore how students and teachers alike can participate as learners and/or tutors through the Schoolhouse World program.

Schoolhouse World was launched through a partnership with Kahn Academy founder Sal Kahn and a team of educators and technology innovators. Its more than 2,000 tutors use a range of digital tools, including Wacom digital pen tablets, to support live tutoring sessions in 100+ countries. Akshay and Doug will also provide examples of the many ways classroom teachers can use online, peer-to-peer tutoring during and beyond the school day, helping students address learning gaps in the wake of the pandemic and taking advantage of opportunities for acceleration and inquiry into subjects of special interest.

This edWebinar will be of interest to K-12 teachers, librarians, school and district leaders, education technology leaders, and instructional coaches. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
