Webinar “Demystifying Assessments to Improve Instruction and Student Outcomes”

New backpacks, fresh notebooks, and fall screening are all signs that it’s back-to-school time. Yet, it’s not uncommon for teachers to face uncertainty around which assessments to select for which purposes—and how to use the data for instructional planning.

Join this edWebinar for a deep dive into assessment types, differences, purposes, and best practices as well as how to use the data to support each student’s individual learning and social-emotional behavior needs.

Attendees will:

  • Develop an understanding of the difference between standards and skills-based assessments
  • Explore the six steps for building a comprehensive assessment system
  • Get answers to other common questions and misconceptions about assessment

This edWebinar will be of interest to PreK-12 teachers, school and district leaders, librarians, assessment leaders, instructional coaches, data analysts, data specialists, and assessment specialists. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
