Webinar “Design Engaging DEI Workshops for Adult Learners Using the Learner Variability Navigator”

Are you a workshop facilitator or trainer? Would you like a new resource to help you engage adult learners? Let’s face it — adults learn differently, and if you’re a workshop facilitator, this can present a creative challenge. You know your content, but how do you combine your expertise with instructional strategies that are proven to engage adult learners?

If you’ve ever wondered, “Is there something more I can do to make my workshop even more impactful?” this edWebinar is for you. Join us to learn how two diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) leaders leverage the free research-backed Learner Variability Navigator (LVN) to design creative and engaging learning experiences for adults. In this session, we will:

  • Discuss four factors critical to adult learning
  • Discuss key strategies that can help you design engaging workshops
  • Share a case study using the LVN to develop a DEI workshop
  • Offer tips for designing your workshops
  • Discuss methods to facilitate difficult and sometimes polarizing topics

Learn how to level up your workshop-creation process and gain access to research-based strategies to help you deliver engaging content. This edWebinar will be of interest to adult workshop facilitators and educators of adult learners. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
