Webinar “Effective Strategies for Boosting Achievement with Newcomer Spanish-Speaking ELLs”

Technology is an excellent resource for teachers with English learners at a variety of different levels. However, it can be difficult to find tools that can easily be tailored to support all students, especially newcomers.

Join this edWebinar featuring California educator, administrator, and newcomer advocate Efraín Tovar on boosting achievement with newcomers. Dr. Marielle Palombo, Listenwise’s Director of Curriculum, will join the conversation to share context on how multimodal English language development lessons are developed and ways that educators can use them to teach content and language together across various language acquisition levels. Educators will leave this session with practical instructional strategies for making lessons accessible for newcomer ELs.

This edWebinar will be of interest to teachers, school and district leaders, and education technology leaders of the elementary through high school grades. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
