Webinar “Build Positive Relationships in the Classroom Through Meaningful Conversations”

In this engaging and insightful edWebinar, Byron McClure, D.Ed. shares how educators can make relationships the center of learning and, in turn, positively impact school climate and culture.

During this session, attendees will:

  • Learn the importance and benefits of building positive relationships in the classroom and how they can lead to a positive school culture
  • Explore CASEL’s 3 Signature Practices, the Four Stages of Building Relational Capacity, and how to use conversations to build positive relationships between students and adults
  • Understand the impact of building relationships on student learning and well-being

Attendees will leave the session with a set of questions to implement into their classroom routines, based on where their class is in the Stages of Building Relational Capacity and personalized for their students. This edWebinar will be of interest to PreK-12 teachers, librarians, school and district leaders, education technology leaders, and school counselors and psychologists. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
