Committed to better understanding your students in order to customize their learning experiences? Curious to know more about the importance of and how to easily engage in whole-child teaching and learning? Want a tool that isn’t an add-on, but that can be used to make your practice more effective? Join this edWebinar for an interactive discussion that features lessons on how to teach students about learner variability from Digital Promise’s student activity guide and a deep dive into the free Learner Variability Navigator (LVN). Educator Sarah Oberle will share how she used these lessons in her class and the impact they had on her first graders!
In this edWebinar, attendees will:
- Develop an understanding of the importance of recognizing and addressing student learner variability in order to put in place strategies that work
- Understand the interconnectedness of whole-learner teaching and learning that incorporates not only academic and cognitive abilities but also social and emotional and student background abilities
- Explore the free LVN tool and practice how it could work for you in your classroom
- Provide feedback on how using LVN complements classroom practice
This edWebinar will be of interest to K-12 teachers, librarians, school leaders, and education technology leaders. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
