Webinar “3 Essential Questions to Ask About Students` Midyear Growth”

When winter break ends, many classroom routines pick up right where they left off, but are you being guided by all of the information you have at this point in the year? How can you best identify the practices that are producing the greatest results and those that may be falling short?

In this edWebinar, Dr. Sarah Brown and Dr. Gene Kerns will explore three key questions to ask at midyear to guide decisions around instruction and intervention in order to maximize student growth.

You’ll understand:

  • The importance of winter screening and how to use your data to evaluate district-, school-, and grade-level performance
  • The value of both screening and progress monitoring data in determining whether Tier 2 and 3 interventions should be modified, intensified, or retired
  • Strategies for improving program effectiveness and for promoting greater growth this spring and beyond

This edWebinar will be of interest to K-12 teachers, school and district leaders, and assessment, MTSS, and RTI coordinators. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
