Webinar “Using Automation to Maximize Instruction and Reduce Teacher Burnout”

Teachers’ responsibilities will change as technology progresses at a faster rate. The question is: How can automation help teachers be more efficient and effective and prevent the accumulation of even more daily tasks for an already-overworked profession?

In this edLeader Panel, we’ll cover the ways in which technology-enabled automation can help teachers maximize instructional time and reduce the burden of administrative, “non-teaching” tasks. We’ll also discuss the pros and cons of automation in the classroom, pitfalls to avoid, and practical tips for implementation. Finally, the panelists will share their thoughts on what the future holds for automation in the education space.

Panelists include edtech leaders Dr. Eric Wang, Vice President of Artificial Intelligence at Turnitin, and Dr. Courtney Monk, Co-founder and COO at Schoolytics, alongside district leaders Randy Kolset, Coordinator of Educational Technology at Orange Unified School District, and Sam Brooks, Personal Learning Supervisor at Putnam County School System. Together, they provide a comprehensive perspective on technology and automation’s impact on teachers and their students.

This edLeader Panel will be of interest to K-12 school leaders, district leaders, and education technology leaders. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
