Webinar “Assessing Learning in the Standards-Based Classroom”

Assessment is an important component of the instructional process and yet it is a topic that many educators feel they lack expertise in. In this edWebinar, Jan K. Hoegh will provide information on how to design standards-based assessments that provide meaningful data to inform the next steps in an instructional cycle. Additionally, she will offer practical ideas for ensuring the technical quality of assessments, as well as suggestions for providing feedback to students that will foster improvement in their learning.

Attend this session to:

  • Gain clarity on the different types and roles of assessment throughout an instructional cycle
  • Learn strategies for ensuring the technical quality of the assessment
  • Examine ways to use assessment results for informing instruction and providing feedback to students

This edWebinar will be of interest to K-12 teachers and school leaders. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
