All too many press releases, no matter how painstakingly crafted, are filed under B in a flash, due to issues such as non-standard structuring, vague messaging, badly-worded copy, and — worst of all — a non-newsworthy topic.
This FREE 1.5-hour webinar is designed to help business owners, charity PR / marketing teams, and anyone else in a relevant role avoid these pitfalls and create newsworthy, well-structured, and well-written press releases that make journalists and broadcasters sit up and pay attention.
During the session, you’ll learn how to structure and write your press release for maximum impact, write a compelling covering email, and research the right people and organisations to send it to.
The session offers a mixture of auditory and visual learning through an interactive PowerPoint presentation, with opportunities for group discussion, so you can share your experiences and ideas with your fellow learners.
At the end of the session, there are some useful Dos and Don’ts, followed by links to free resources to help deepen your learning. There’ll also be a Q&A if you have any questions.
