Webinar “Using Learning Analytics to Illuminate Students’ Online Experiences”

In today’s digital world, a significant portion of the teaching/learning process takes place online. Teachers and administrators who are not investigating learning analytics — data produced through online learning—are missing an outstanding opportunity to improve instruction and promote student reflection. However, teachers are currently lacking quick access to students’ activity during online research, suggesting the need for effective tools to navigate student learning analytics.

In this edWebinar, attendees will sign off with an understanding of the value of learner analytics and how they can be used to guide online instruction using a free, innovative tool for illuminating students’ online research, Learnics. Education stakeholders are invited to join this session to receive a brief overview of the importance of learning analytics, provided by a demonstration of the user-friendly tool. Attendees will walk away with a pre-packaged demo lesson to use in their classrooms or share with an educational audience.

This edWebinar will be of interest to middle and high school teachers, librarians, school and district leaders, and education technology leaders. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
