Intro to Strength Training: “How to Train Safely & Sustainably”

Our workshop is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of strength training while emphasizing training safely for the long term. Whether you are new to strength training or someone with experience, this session will cater to individuals of all training levels. Our very own Dr. Adrienne Lufkin, who has her Russian Kettlebell Certification (RKC) and other various fitness certifications, will demystify some common misconceptions and equip you with essential strength training knowledge.

You will learn:

  1. Why everyone should strength train
  2. Understanding the basics of strength training
  3. Address common strength training misconceptions
  4. How to get started!

This event is for you if:

  1. You are currently new to strength training and want to start
  2. You have experience with strength training but want to learn more
  3. You want to ask about common misconceptions and concerns about strength training
