The Big Book Parties continue at The High School for Fashion Industries!
Join Brooklyn Book Bodega and Our Pal Isaac, children’s musician extraordinaire, for a toe-tapping good time! We’ll bring stories to life together, with hand movements, rhythms, and great music for the whole family.
Our Pal Isaac is Isaac Gillespie, a Brooklyn-based musician and educator with over a decade’s experience as an enrichment teacher in early childhood settings. As a beloved Teaching Artist at Tribeca’s Children’s Museum of the Arts and teaching yoga, music, and mindfulness in preschools and daycares through Yo Re Mi‌, Isaac has cherished the opportunity to share loving educational spaces with a generation of New York’s tiniest people. Our Pal Isaac presents an opportunity to share this holistic vision with a wider audience, though Isaac is still very much teaching in-person classes in the New York area

The music starts at 12 pm.
Book giveaways will be available throughout the event.
This program is part of NYC Reads and a collaboration between Brooklyn Book Bodega, NYC Public Schools: FACE (Office of Family and Community Engagement), and Reading Partners.
