Tales of New York — A Free Storytelling Night in Rutgers Sanctuary

What’s Your New York Story?

Do you love a good story?

Listen or share your (mostly) true story of you in Gotham City.

The theme? Tales of New York.

Consider telling a story like one of these:

  • What did you find when you were lost in Central Park?
  • What was the first Broadway show you saw?
  • What was your first roommate like?
  • How much did the subway cost?
  • NYC Wildlife? Nightlife?
  • What was that crazy restaurant on the corner?
  • Who was that fabulous celebrity you saw? Where?
  • What happened the day that you arrived in New York City?

Like The Moth, our storytellers don’t use notes; they are chosen randomly for a 5-minute slot.

Join us! for a supportive and humorous evening. Laugh. Cry. Simply listen, or tell your tale of how you took a bite out of the Big Apple.

Time: 7:00-8:30 pm EST
