In “Trolls Band Together,” the Troll universe expands as Poppy, Branch, and the rest of the Poppy family journey to a new location — the Techno Reek City. It all starts with the discovery of a long-lost relative, a talented and rebellious techno-loving Troll named “Tweed.” This discovery unlocks a family secret that has been hidden for generations — Poppy’s late grandmother, Queen Harmony, wasn’t just a legendary singer, but the leader of a legendary Troll band, “The Lonesome Tones.”

Inspired by her grandmother’s legacy and the promise of a thrilling musical adventure, Poppy teams up with Branch and her new cousin, Tweed. Together, they must travel to the heart of Techno Reek City to save The Lonesome Tones’ music and reunite their band.

Along the way, they face a unique challenge — getting their disparate musical styles to blend. Poppy’s optimistic pop energy clashes with Branch’s grumpy country vibes and both are thrown into disarray by Tweed’s cutting-edge techno beats. Through their musical differences and the trials and tribulations of their journey, the trio learns the power of collaboration, the beauty of family, and the importance of staying true to oneself.

With the fate of the Lonesome Tones’ music and the very spirit of their family in balance, Poppy, Branch, and Tweed must find a way to bridge their musical differences and work together to save the day.
