“Under the Tuscan Sun” is a heartwarming romantic comedy about self-discovery and new beginnings. After a painful divorce, Frances Mayes, a writer from San Francisco, impulsively buys a rundown villa in Tuscany, Italy. Initially intending a quick escape, she finds herself drawn to the beauty and charm of the Italian countryside and decides to stay and renovate the villa.
As Frances throws herself into the project, she encounters a colorful cast of characters: a charming antique dealer, a group of Polish workers who help her rebuild the house, and a free-spirited pregnant woman who teaches her about love and life.
