The film follows the lives of a group of friends from the South Bronx who are passionate about different elements of hip-hop: DJing, MCing, breakdancing, and graffiti art.

Kenny Kirkland (Guy Davis), a talented DJ known as “Double K,” dreams of breaking into the mainstream music scene. His brother Lee (Robert Taylor) is a gifted graffiti artist who goes by the name “Ramo,” using the city as his canvas to express his artistic vision. Their friend Ramon (Jon Chardiet), a talented breakdancer known as “Rapper,” struggles with the expectations of his family and his desire to pursue his passion. Together, they navigate the challenges and opportunities of the burgeoning hip-hop scene, facing competition, societal pressures, and the realities of life in their neighborhood.
