Blackkklansman (2018) is a biographical crime comedy-drama film directed by Spike Lee and based on the memoir of Ron Stallworth, the first African American detective in the Colorado Springs Police Department. The film follows Stallworth’s undercover mission to infiltrate and expose the local Ku Klux Klan chapter, with the help of his Jewish colleague Flip Zimmerman. The film explores the themes of racism, identity, and power, and draws parallels between the past and the present.
