Saturday Cinema “Home Alone”
Home Alone is a 1990 American comedy film about an eight-year-old boy named Kevin McCallister, who is accidentally left behind by his family when they go on a Christmas vacation to Paris. Kevin enjoys having the house to himself until he has to defend it from two burglars who try to rob it on Christmas Eve. He sets up various booby traps to stop them, while his family tries to return home as soon as possible. The film was directed by Chris Columbus, written and produced by John Hughes, and starred Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern, John Heard, and Catherine O’Hara. It was a huge box office success and became a classic Christmas movie.
