We are delighted to invite you to the opening of the SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO exhibition that brings together the talents of photographers, photojournalists, videographers, and students from Slovakia. This exhibition, which was first presented at Hviezdoslav Square and Zichy Palace in Bratislava in September and October of last year, has now been given the extraordinary opportunity to travel to America.

The SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO project aims to showcase authentic depictions of life and societal events through photography, highlighting the work of photojournalists from Slovakia and Eastern Europe. The project includes a competition, exhibition, and various activities organized by the SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO Foundation. Its goals are to promote non-commercial educational events, raise awareness of both domestic and international photography, and foster networking among photographers, students, and professionals in related fields. The project features finalists, winners, and contributors from Slovakia and abroad.

Join us for the opening of this prestigious exhibition on April 3, 2025, at the Consulate General of Slovakia in New York, where the works will be showcased in a gallery space right in the heart of Manhattan.
