Bodies of Time — Exhibition Opening
Bodies of Time is an upcoming group presentation of selected laureates of the Oskar ÄŒepan Award, the leading Slovak prize for contemporary art.
The Bodies of Time explores time as a material quantity. Although modern humans attempt to tame time by abstracting, systematizing, categorizing, and dividing it into the present, past, and future, into time zones, hours, minutes, and seconds, time remains a force resistant to control, surpassing human comprehension. It is stored in rocks, animals, bodies, waters, and the world.
