Exhibition “The Art of Belonging: Finding Community Through Creative Expression”
The Bridge offers a holistic range of services to support individuals experiencing homelessness, behavioral health challenges, and discrimination throughout their journey toward a productive and fulfilling future. We are a trauma-informed community, providing compassion and empathy as we create safe, welcoming spaces where healing can begin, and lives can be rebuilt. The Arts Institute is a place for Bridge clients to become part of a community of creators integrated into the art world of NYC. It is a nonclinical program that provides art materials, open studio time for clients, and much more! The Arts Institute produces gallery shows six times throughout the year that are open to the public. This year is our first-ever Holiday Market where Bridge Artists will be selling a variety of crafts in addition to the traditional art featured in the gallery shows. The theme of this is entitled “The Art of Belonging — Finding Community Through Creative Expression.” Follow us on Instagram as we prepare for the exhibit!
