Exhibition “Wings”

Opening reception: Thursday, October 3, 5:00-9:00 pm

The birds portrayed in paintings of this exhibition are cranes. These feathered and winged creatures, a symbol of renewal, happiness, loyalty, wisdom, freedom, and longevity in various cultures around the world, who return home every spring, are an inspiration to the artist.

In the artist’s paintings, cranes — carriers of inner light, peace, and tranquility — serve as a way of grasping one’s spiritual impulse that reaches not only the artist but also the viewer, thus giving an impression of soothing freedom and elevation.

Inesa AntanauskienÄ— lives and works in Lithuania. Having graduated from the Faculty of Arts at Šiauliai University (Lithuania), she is also a member of the French Association of Artists, ARTEC, and is best known for her paintings depicting supple crane birds and her unique impressionistic technique. Since 2018 the artist’s work has been presented in 8 solo exhibitions in Lithuania. Her paintings have been displayed in 28 international biennales and exhibitions in Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Austria, Germany, the United Kingdom, Japan and France. Her artwork has been highly praised in international art projects in Switzerland, Italy, the United States, and Canada, and published in international art publications.
