You’re invited to The Bronx Museum for the exhibition opening of FUTURA 2000: BREAKING OUT, a retrospective of legendary artist FUTURA 2000’s extraordinary 50-year career! FUTURA 2000 has left an indelible mark on contemporary culture through his artwork and collaborations in the fashion and music industries.
The exhibition opening festivities include fun art-making activities, energizing music, and a spirited community atmosphere. Don’t miss this chance to celebrate one of NYC’s most iconic artists!
Please Note
The south wing of The Bronx Museum is undergoing a transformative $33 million renovation, with construction slated for completion in 2026! Our north galleries and event spaces remain open, but capacity is limited.
We will do our best to accommodate everyone who attends the FUTURA 2000 exhibition opening in our north building. But to ensure the well-being and safety of our staff and visitors, we may need to ask your party to wait outside the Museum momentarily until some people exit the event.
You can help by letting us know if you plan on attending with a free RSVP! If you do so, we will also be able to inform you via email if there are any important updates you need to know before the event.
Thank you for your kind understanding, we look forward to hosting you on September 8th!
