Exhibition “How Do You Feel New York”

An interactive exhibition that navigates sentiments through multi-sensory portals: A cross-disciplinary exhibition from PARSONS School of Design. Selected works and installations curated by Carly Cannell and Annabelle Schneider.

Touch, feel, play, listen, imagine and breathe. Each installation invites emotional interaction and response to “How Do You Feel New York?” Work and experiences will be represented across PARSONS School of Design, including Interior Design, Architecture, Lighting Design, Industrial/Product Design, Design + Technology, and Textiles.

Besides many other beautiful & provocative works, the next edition of Carly Cannell’s research project WHEN PLACES SPEAK, a global photography exhibition that exposes places of sex trafficking within New York, will be on display [a project in collaboration with Tasoulla Hadjiyanni].

When Places Speak is a global photography exhibit that provides a voice to physical places associated with sex trafficking.

The exhibit’s New York City edition will unveil the hidden yet visible facets of sex trafficking across all boroughs. The exhibition employs a rich, multi-sensory experience through soundscapes, videos, and photographs, inviting visitors into the reality of these spaces to foster empathy, awareness, and action.
